Personal Description:
Dia dhuit! I am currently in my final year of a Postgraduate qualification in secondary school teaching, with a 1.1 undergraduate degree in Maths and Irish. Friendly and passionate about my subjects, I hope to engage interest, improve exam scores and help my students achieve, whatever their aims may be.
Tutoring Experience:
6 years of tutoring experience, including Leaving Cert Higher Level maths and Irish.
1 year secondary school experience, 1st to 6th year maths support classes.
3 months maths tutor experience in grinds school.
3 months coláiste samhraidh experience teaching Irish to 2-5th years during summer camp courses.
Approach to Grinds:
I tailor the sessions towards the student's individual goals and adjust my style and approach as suits the student and the topic being covered. All grinds are online where I use an interactive whiteboard tool. These notes, and more, are shared with the student after the class.
