Hi! I'm a recent Masters graduate based in Scotland. I love History, and one of my favourite hobbies is trying to get everyone as excited about it as I am (well, that and baking my feelings and irritating my cat).
I've been a teaching assistant in Kirkcaldy High School, and was an Outreach and Education Assistant at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Cambridge. Currently I am childminding, so am familiar with navigating online teaching and home learning.
I can help with structuring essays/answers, reading primary sources, and helping students analyse and present the information in front of them in a way compatible with exam/curriculum guidelines. In short, getting into the mindset of being a historian! I will also focus on the content and help ensure students really understand the events they are studying. But ultimately I have a student-focused approach, which prioritises what they need help with and how best to achieve that in a way compatible to each individual. No question is a stupid question!
