I am a friendly, easygoing Spanish tutor with a first-class bachelors degree in Spanish (graduating with distinction). I have lived and worked in Spain over a number of years and know exactly what it's like to learn Spanish as a foreign language - and it's not always straightforward! I can tailor my tutoring to your style of learning and goals, whether you would prefer to practice conversation, are working towards a specific qualification, or just want to be able to get by when you travel.
I have taught Spanish (and English as a second language) over a number of years, working with students of all ages. I have drastically improved students' grades at school and given them the confidence they need to continue their studies to a higher level. As someone who has spent over a decade learning and teaching Spanish, I understand how the process works, what students tend to get stuck on, and which aspects of the language are important to prioritise.
I'm very personable, friendly, and patient, and can provide a stress-free learning environment where there are no silly questions and students are free to learn about what interests them. I'm adaptable and can tailor lessons to the student and their preferred learning style.
I'm extremely passionate about Spanish which is also something I try to transmit to students. As opposed to simply going through the motions, I try to emphasise the real-world applications of Spanish as one of the world's most widespread languages, and the doors it opens up for learners.
