I am a Primary PGCE qualified teacher with 13 years’ experience, based in north London.
I am passionate about working with children and supporting them to fulfil their full academic potential.

Tutoring Experience

I have 13 years’ teaching experience in state maintained and independent schools in both the UK and Japan. This experience comprises of teaching roles across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Furthermore, I have been a member of a Senior Leadership Team, where I was able to inform school policy and decision-making with respect to improving progress and raising attainment of all children.

In particular, I have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and in preparing children for the SATS assessments. Additionally, I worked as a tutor at Axis Tuition Centre in Finchley, where I raised the levels of attainment for Year 3 / Year 4 children in both English and Maths.

Also, I am TEFL qualified and have good experience of teaching ESL classes to non-native English speakers. Whilst at an international school in Tokyo (Japan), I was very successful in improving the level of spoken English of all children.

Tutoring Approach

I am passionate about helping children to learn. I am both flexible and patient, and will work closely with the child, in order to identify their specific needs. From this, I will then tailor my tutoring to address any gaps in their knowledge.

I always strive to create a positive and engaging learning experience, where children are fully supported. My aim is that children will become independent and confident in their learning, and will grow to become lifelong learners.
