Adam's Feedback

Adam has worked with my son for about 3 months so far, and has been an excellent support as he studies for his Geography A-level. Obviously Adam's knowledge is comprehensive, but his ability to impart that knowledge in a patient and accessible way has helped enormously.

The communication with us (parents!) has also been faultless. Email responses, setting up on online sessions, and handling payments, has also been very straight forward and stress free.

Would highly recommend.

Adam has been a brilliant tutor for my daughter. He helped with dedicated sessions on key topics, plus practice and technique tips to structure exam questions. Adam has also offered invaluable guidance and support towards my daughter’s NEA.

As a result my daughter’s confidence has improved and these sessions have enhanced the depth of her knowledge on this subject. Thank you Adam!

We engaged with Adams help for my daughters last year in GCSE Geography which she was home schooled for (1year).
Adams weekly lesson proved to be the best decision we had made. She always found them interesting and informative, coming away with enthusiasm to do her own work between each weekly lesson. We are delighted with her result this summer (2023) of a very high 7, 1 mark shy of an 8!

Adam was quick to respond to my questions and has been flexible and professional from the very start. My son is in Year 12 and has had 2 lessons with him so far. He has found Adam so friendly, patient, extremely knowledgeable and encouraging. He is really looking forward to the journey ahead and learning from this dedicated teacher.

We found Adam to be very helpful for revision for my daughters ALevel geography. He was very thorough in his approach which meant the sessions were useful in terms of both time and content. Adam coached my son, Teo, year 9, for a few weeks prior to his GCSE Geography exams which he took this June 2022.
Adam was patient, clear in his instructions and managed to make a huge difference to Teo's confidence and understanding in a very short period of time. Regardless of the grade Teo receives, I am sure Adam's help meant Teo entered the exam room prepared and confident and I am sure he will receive a better grade than had he not had Adam's help in last minute preparation.
Adam came across as a very nice, but firm tutor and I can highly recommend him.

Adam was quite busy and unfortunately was only able to offer us a few sessions in the run up to the exams. Adam was very professional and explained things really well. My only criticism would be the lack of availability and that I had to follow up next lesson/session. We had to engage another tutor simultaneously. Really good tutor though.

Really insightful and clear and very experienced. Made my daughter feel more confident straight away and helped her focus on what she needs to do to improve. Really good and would thoroughly recommend.

My daughter is studying A Level Geography and going into her 2nd year - so far she has had two sessions with Adam and really enjoys the tutoring style Adam provides. He has already helped her with specific details and elements of the coursework that she was not 100% sure about - she feels more confident and relaxed knowing that Adam is tutoring her. She hopes to have Adam as her online tutor weekly through the this year and 2022 until A Level exam time. We would absolutely recommend Adam - for his knowledge and personable skills.

Our son (1st Year GCSE) wax struggling with his Geography at school so we decided to get him a tutor and consequently found Adam here. Adam has been tutoring him for 6 months now (1 hour a week) and Rory has come on leaps and bounds in the subject as a result. He is doing much better in the subject at school. We feel lucky to have found Adam and recommend him very highly. Rory likes Adam and as a result a good teaching/learning relationship has been established.

Adam has helped my daughter with her Geography A level preparation over the last 8 months. He has come to the house for an hour every 2 weeks, and he has always arrived promptly. He has arranged content for each session according to what she felt she needed. He has taken her geography to another level, and she has come out of each session "buzzing" and full of enthusiasm. Her main weakness was the 20 markers, and we have seen her marks and her confidence grow. I would have no hesitation in recommending him as a tutor to anyone!

Adam managed to squeeze in fortnightly lessons for our daughter, even though his was fully booked.

Adam supported my daughter in her Geography A Level. After an initial assessment he determined that she did not need ongoing tutoring but the best approach would be for Adam to guide her studies in the right direction and make periodic reviews of her progress. His input proved to be invaluable and absolutely transformed both her confidence and her approach to Geography. It went from a subject she intended to drop after AS Level to one where she got an A* and 100% mark across both AS and A level exams. She and I firmly believe that Adam was instrumental in her success and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Excellent tutor who is flexible and punctual. My daughter's grade improved significantly throughout the year due to Adam' s support and guidance.

Adam has been a fantastic tutor to my son for Geography. My son had become a bit disillusioned with the subject and wasn't getting the right support from his college, after a bad resit result, even though he is doing well in current modules. Adam has been able to get to the bottom of the problem, in order to concentrate on what has been going wrong. Adam has also identified how my son learns best, and has talked him through revising and exam technique.
