I am a GP specialty doctor who has been practicing for almost 4 years. I was born and bred in Birmingham, attended a King Edwards' Aston Grammar School, before studying 5 years medical degree in Norwich, University of East Anglia. I am currently working with the local area as a full time doctor.
Now, I would like to tutor students who are willing to embark on the journey of applying to medical school themselves which can be such a rocky and arduous path without the right guidance. This will be in the form of personal statement reviews, advice and interview preparation.
I have a passion in teaching and in helping others to succeed and bring out the best in their ability. I like to see what students know, their starting point as well as assess what their vision is to achieve. My strengths are to be patient with students whilst putting them through the right amount of pressure so that they can perform their best. It is a team effort between the instructor and pupil and a commitment to achieve the same goal, so I expect from students to put in the same great effort I will give to them.
