I’m Aimee, I’m 21-years-old and have been a tutor teaching a range of GCSE and A-Level subjects for 2 years. I really enjoy tutoring as I find it rewarding and I love helping students gain their potential!
I have been tutoring for two years now teaching a range of subjects. One of my proudest moments was getting a student from a Grade 3 (D) in English Literature to a Grade 6 (B) in their final exams! I really enjoy supporting students and creating lessons which engage them and make them feel confident for their exams.
My teaching approach is relaxed as I want students to be able to feel like they can approach me when they are in need of help. One thing I get a lot in feedback from students is how confident I make them feel in their abilities. I want to be able to give them feedback and help them grow. I sometimes give homework to do but this is only if I feel they need an extra boost or I want to see if they are applying the knowledge I have given them in their work. I also provide all students with a Google classroom space which enables them to be able to refer to any materials used in lessons for when they are revising or out of tutoring sessions.
