I am a very experienced Primary Teacher with a passion for reading, writing and maths. I am a creative professional teacher and bring enjoyment for learning when planning and delivering learning experiences for children. I follow a mindset that children develop at their own pace and can all achieve to the best of their ability when encouraged and supported to do so.

Tutoring Experience

I have nearly 20 years teaching experience across the primary and Early Years Phases. I love fostering a love of reading in young children, particularly helping children who find early reading, writing and maths a real challenge.

Tutoring Approach

I adopt practical methods of teachings that make learning fun. I approach tutoring with an understanding of each child as an individual learner. I plan meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences for children that motivate and encourage children to want to learn, improve their knowledge and understanding and make positive steps in their progress.
