Tutoring Experience

I have an outstanding teaching record and worked in several outstanding schools. I am currently a Team Leader for AQA A level History and have been a GCSE Examiner for History for Edexcel / Pearsons, WJEC and AQA. I have a wide range of experience Having taught British, European and American History at both GCSE and A level. My results have been outstanding at both GCSE and A level with students achieving significant value added scores over many years. I also have experience of teaching A level Politics - having taught both British and American courses. I have over thirty years of teaching experience. I have also taught IB History and achieved outstanding results.

I am friendly, patient and supportive. I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I have high expectations and will ensure students reach their potential through thoughtful and caring teaching methods. I understand how students learn and will adapt my teaching to individual needs.
