I am an experienced teacher of Mathematics at key stages 2, 3, 4 and 5. I have taught in Bristol and Bath for the past 10 years but recently moved to a prodigious independent school for boys in the Northwood area.
I have a passion for mathematics and inspiring young people to reach their potential at GCSE and A Level. I am a firm believer that progression in mathematics is linked to confidence. There is no better way to reveal a young person's abilities, and bolster performance through improved confidence, than in one to one tuition.
I am a qualified teacher of Mathematics with wide experience teaching from years 5 to 13 since 2011. I taught in mixed gender education for many years before moving to an all girls' secondary school in Bath. I am currently in my third year at an extremely high achieving boys' school close to my new home in Northwood.
I have seven years of experience helping young people achieve their goals in mathematics in a tutor capacity.
I have created a wealth of resources in recent years with the aim of diagnosing and curing misconceptions in topic specific areas within the curriculum for key stage 3, GCSE, IGCSE, FSMQ, A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. These have proven invaluable in preparing students for their examinations.
Much of my teaching and tutoring moved online in 2020/21. I have embraced the revolutionary use of remote technology but I am happy to cater to individual needs should a tutee still wish for on site tuition.
