I am a knowledgeable, experienced and dedicated fully qualified Business Studies teacher and Subject Lead of Business Studies at an Outstanding sixth form college in Hampshire.

My passion for business studies and my commitment to providing a high-quality education to my students have been the driving forces behind my success as a teacher. I strive to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment where students can develop a deep understanding of key business concepts and acquire the necessary skills to succeed in the business world.

In my current role as a Subject Lead, I have been responsible for designing and implementing the business studies curriculum, as well as providing guidance and support to other teachers in the department. I believe in the importance of staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the business field and integrating real-world examples and case studies into my teaching. I also have real world experience as a director of my own company.

Tutoring Experience

I am a dedicated and experienced Business Studies teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience in schools and colleges. Currently, I hold the position of Subject Lead at Barton Peveril College, Hampshire. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach a range of business courses, including A-Level Business, BTEC Business, and GCSE Business. I am now offering private tutoring face to face and online.

I specialise in Edexcel and AQA exam boards.

Tutoring Approach

I am an approachable, friendly and motivating tutor.

During our first session, we will meet to discuss the tutee's requirements and think about specific areas they would like to work on together. I provide support in answering past paper questions and structuring exam responses, by helping students further develop their critical thinking and evaluation skills.

I am dedicated to helping my students reach their full potential and prepare them for future success. I believe in fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged to take risks and think critically. I am passionate about instilling in my students a love for learning and a curiosity about the world of business.
