Provides a flexible approach to learning French in a fun way for a lapsed speaker who wants to get back into regular speaking and reading

Alex was a respectful man and lovely man, a fluent Spanish speaker and did show some good teaching skills but unfortunately as he has been in the teaching profession ( in schools) years ago he seems to have lost touch with higher level Spanish examination requirements therefore unfortunately didn’t suit my requirements.

Alex has been excellent in understanding my son's requirements and very quickly identified his learning style. He has been helpful and quick to adapt lessons to take account of lockdown conditions. Without Alex's input, I think my son would have "given up on" Spanish, instead of which he looks forward to his sessions with Alex.

Had only one session and was honest to let me know that he couldn't do what I wanted. Therefore, Alex is honest and friendly. He minds his tutees and their parents / carers. He was punctual on the day. My son enjoyed his teaching.

Alex has tailored the content of my tutorials perfectly for my needs. As a postgraduate student I need to be able to read historical sources in French. Hence, the lessons have focused on my desire to improve my reading skills. Moreover, he has found texts relevant to my degree for me to translate, which has enhanced the enjoyment of my tutorials even further. With Alex's help the French learned during my GSCE years is quickly coming back. Would highly recommend.

Excellent understanding of where and how my French needs improving! Studying French at degree level is difficult when living in the UK and there is no one else to practice listening and fluent conversation skills with. I've had 3 lessons so far and not only has my confidence vastly improved but so has my vocabulary and listening skills. I would thoroughly recommend Alex as a tutor and am so pleased with my investment which as far as I'm concerned, is priceless.

My son just had his first lesson with hims tutor Alex, he is really pleased. He was a bit apprehensive after school today, but Alex made him feel at ease and he now cant wait to tell all his friends and he's looking forward to next week. Definately reccommend.
