Alex is now supporting my son with his A level maths after successfully boosting his grade at GCSE level. My son is very happy with his sessions and always says he finds the sessions beneficial. Alex works in a very professional manner and always keeps us updated with our son's progress. We highly recommend Alex.

Update: My son has now completed his A-Level Maths after being supported throughout by Alex. Alex has continued to be the most perfect tutor for our son. Its been wonderful watching our son grow in confidence and in particular, to see him approach the final exams which such confidence was amazing! Alex has literally done everything within his power to help our son, being 100% dependable and 100% flexible. Communications have been truly excellent - responses to email requests have been very fast and Alex has provided excellent progress updates throughout with recommendations for private study. We can't thank you enough Alex, you have genuinely transformed our son's enjoyment and confidence in maths, making a huge impact on his future prospects. Alex is just amazing and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is possibly the most patient man I have ever known and that was definitely needed for tutoring my ADHD son through his GCSE maths! So thank you Alex! You made our lives much easier!

Alex is a great tutor. He's friendly, helpful and very approachable to deal with. His tutoring style is clear, engaging and instructive. Alex has been tutoring our son KS4/GCSE for a few months now. The improvement in our son's confidence and ability with maths has been just incredible . And he also really looks forward to Alex's lessons!

Without question, Alex is the best A Level tutor that my daughter has had in any subject. By identifying any weak areas and formulating a structured plan of attack, test papers are all A* grade as opposed to a B when they first started working together. As a parent you get a weekly email update and I cannot recommend him highly enough. More importantly, my daughter found him very easy to work with and we have found that isn’t always the case. 5*****

Alex is an excellent maths tutor, who has tutored all 3 of my daughters (including at GCSE and A level). He makes the subject more enjoyable, and improves confidence. He has a very thorough and organised approach, setting weekly homework, which is marked, and providing exam specific advice. Communication levels are always very high, so parents are aware of exactly what has been covered and areas requiring work. I highly recommend him.

Alex is excellent. Our somewhat lacking in confidence maths student son has, under Alex's tutelage, moved to the top set. Highly recommend. I'm in particular impressed with Alex's follow up in setting appropriate but suitably challenging follow up exercises each week.

My son was just under the grade required for A level maths in his school. The school said that he could do A level maths but must meet all targets set. Alex has been working with my son and I have just received notification from the school that he has achieved his targets and that the Teacher is very happy with his progress. My son really enjoys working with Alex and has found his lessons to be invaluable. His explanations are very clear, and he tests his knowledge before moving on to the next topic. As a result, James is far more confident in the subject. As a parent, I have found that Alex provides excellent feedback on my son's performance and his timekeeping is excellent.
