Alex

Hi, my name is Alex, and I help GCSE and A-level Maths students reach their potential. In recent years, I have achieved A* grades at Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Biology A-level and am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London, on a grade trajectory for a 1st.

Tutoring Experience

One of my current roles is as an academic mentor to junior students within the Mechanical Engineering department; this is something I enjoy greatly and has helped refine my skills of delivering tough STEM content in a digestible way.
In addition to online tutoring, I have spent time assisting students at my own school with GCSE and A-level content.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style is efficient and friendly, as I have found that students (myself included) tend to take on challenging concepts easier when feeling at ease and comfortable. I take personal pride in the success of my students; this is something that greatly motivates me to be an effective tutor.
