I am a bilingual man. I was born in England and moved to Hamburg at the age of 7. After completing my Social work studies in 2012 I moved to Berlin and have worked in various institutions such as international schools, group homes and have worked as a social worker and counselor. I have moved back to the UK and look forward to teaching German.

Tutoring Approach

I find a casual, informal atmosphere the most productive to learn anything. The more relaxed and at ease my client ie. Student is, the more likely they are to try speaking fluently and to read out loud. This combined with my ability to gently correct mistakes and always being aware of the students progress, makes a very powerful tool of learning. I also adapt to the students individual needs and can provide a healthy balance between structure and freedom. I also like to develop learning plans together with the clients to further their development at their own pace.
