Hello! I have seven years of teaching experience and I am very passionate about passing on my knowledge of languages to others and immersing myself in other cultures. I am also an international development and humanitarian professional. Subsequently, my combined experiences have led me to work and live in other countries including Spain, France, Malawi and Vietnam working as a teacher and on international aid projects. I have a BA in French, Spanish and Italia and an MA in Intercultural Communication and International Development. I also have a TESOL qualification.

Tutoring Experience

I bring a wealth of teaching experience in a variety of multicultural settings and with different age groups and abilities. Subsequently, this has required developing a range of lesson plans and activities to engage different target audiences and to present information in a clear and coherent manner.

Tutoring Approach

I am friendly and personable as I believe that building a good working relationship with students and tailoring my sessions' to the needs of the students is very important.

For younger children, I enjoy incorporating fun games and using props and colourful objects to pique their interest.

Regarding exam practice, I find it beneficial to go through past exam papers and to provide excellent sample answers to demonstrate to students how they can score those top marks. I also provide personalised material to assist pupils with their learning.
