Hello. I am a seasoned university lecturer and teacher with 15 years experience in the UK and abroad. I have taught across all social sciences and my teaching has taken me from China, to New Zealand, to Iceland, as well as to universities here in the UK. I am happy to teach general study skills as well as subject content in any of the above areas, at A-Level or above.
I have taught across all social sciences including sociology, politics, anthropology, international relations, international development, media studies, and human geography. I have taught in-person and online for many years now and am equally at home teaching A-Level students, as I am undergraduates or postgraduates. I have taught mature students and those from many different countries, including those who do not have English as a first language.
Learning is always better and easier when it is enjoyable. I know you may have a goal, and you may feel under pressure in regards to an assignment or an exam, but my teaching approach will focus on specifics to help with that while always maintaining the 'big picture' and helping you become a 'life-long learner'. I make the subjects relatable by applying them to real-world examples. I specialise in helping you improve your analytical thinking so that you can achieve the higher grades. Whatever it is you need help with, we will get there.
