I live in Shrewsbury with my family and primary aged children. I've been a primary teacher and senior leader now for 13 years. I enjoy the outdoors, sports and spending time with others.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught across both key stage one and key stage two. I have vast experience of supporting children with SEND needs. I have supported home educated children, reluctant learners, and those preparing for SATs or the 11 plus exam. I have led many school projects and initiatives with schemes such as a mastery approach to maths, English moderation and nurture and wellbeing support.

Tutoring Approach

I place high importance on rapport, relationship building, making learning fun and building confidence. I firmly believe that the very best learning experiences should cater to the needs of individual learning styles. Each learner is unique and will benefit from a varied approach.
