Amadeus's Feedback

When I contacted Amadeus for help at the end of January, my son in Year 12 was very behind in Maths. He lacked two years of GCSE, missed the whole book of Pure Maths 2 and received a D in the first test at the new school.
Amadeus quickly fixed the situation with his solid approach, effective and dedicated way of teaching, constant practice, recap, tests and double tests, at the same time keeping me updated with regular reports. After barely 3 months, from a D my son started receiving all high A* for his class tests.
My son received his Pearson AS result some days ago. He scored an A, the highest result they give in AS exams and also the highest in his school.
I can’t thank Amadeus enough and can’t recommend him highly enough.

I doubt it is common practice that a tutor from this website would choose to take a tutorial from a fellow site member. However, I approached Amadeus as he exemplifies everything that is good about the private tuition industry. In addition to his excellent skills in 1 to 1 online work, he is currently in the process of creating a start up company. Watch this space! I think Amadeus will soon make his new venture a great success.

Amadeus has been a great tutor for my son in year 12, he finds his tutoring approach very good and his patience to go over a topic if he doesnt get. He also covers topics which are outside the specification giving an added advantage. Most of all my son looks forward to his sessions to learn!! I find Amadeus to be a tremendous tutor, he is friendly, patient and helpful. He also has a great knowledge of biology so is able to give clear and precise explanations, I highly recommend.

Amadeus has been tutoring me so that I can take my International A-level Biology exams in the summer. He is very professional and takes the time to make sure I have understood everything. Even though I have ADHD, and find learning quite difficult at times, he is very patient and explains things very clearly, often using diagrams and real-life examples to help with my comprehension. He also asks lots of questions to make sure that I am prepared for the exam and can identify what I may still need help with. I would definitely recommend him as a tutor!

Amadeus is an excellent tutor who is very knowledgeable in maths and all three sciences. He helped my son achieve high grades in all three sciences at GCSE and is now studying A levels with him. He explains any questions you may have very clearly and thoroughly. I would highly recommended him.

Amadeus is an EXCELLENT teacher for all three sciences, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. His way of explaining complex topics is quite simple and my daughter has excelled since she started the lessons with him, and she now has better, deeper understanding of her subjects and her confidence has grown.

Amadeus has been tutoring my son for the past 18 months. My son was struggling to make the jump from GCSE to A level work and was really lacking confidence after the first term in 6th form. Amadeus has been transformational in patiently taking him through the syllabus and teaching him how to breakdown and work through each aspect. Throughout the first lockdown, he provided the only teaching my son had and yet he has kept up with the curriculum and is now able to tackle A level questions with confidence. He has also done a couple of sessions of chemistry too! I would highly recommend him.

Amadeus has been a great tutor for my son Joe with his Higher Chemistry (we live in Scotland, these are equivalent to A/O level). He has been great online, very helpful and organised and within weeks took his results from around 40% to 70% and we are still using him to help Joe as he works on all the assessments that are going on for final marks this year.

Amadeus is currently tutoring my son for his A level maths . I can highly recommend him as a first rate Tutor , he goes through the subject with patience and thoughtful understanding .

Amadeus has tutored my daughter in GCSE maths for the past two months, and we have both been extremely pleased with his approach and the progress that she is making. He is extremely clear, patient, and flexible, and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Amadeus provided online maths tutoring to my 13 year old son for a few months before his common entrance exam, as he had under performed in his mocks. Amadeus took him through several papers, helping him speed up his problem solving and tackle the most stretching questions. Our son enjoyed the maths sessions, and became much faster in his maths papers. He got an A in his final exam (school doesn't give A*s, so this was the top grade possible). Very happy and looking to book Amadeus now for our daughter too.

Amadeus has been tutoring my daughter ahead of her chemistry A level.
She has enjoyed the whole process. He is very engaging and an excellent tutor who built up her confidence ahead of her exams. Tutor fees are quite expensive however in this instance I would say that Amadeus has been definitely worth it. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

My daughter loved chemistry GCSE but quickly got lost when she started AS. She had 4 sessions with Amadeus to boost her confidence and overcome the difficulties she was having. The sessions really helped and as a result she is now considering continuing with it through to A Level.

Amadeus has developed an effective methodology in teaching. He is patient and knowledgeable in different aspects.

My daughter is yr 9 at a girls' boarding school and she would like to read medicine at university. Her first language is not English and our knowledge on English education is quite limited.
Amadeus has taught my daughter for 3 terms, maths, physics, biology and chemistry during her school holidays and breaks.
His teaching is so excellent. My daughter said that he made her fully understand any difficult parts she had met. Especially, he showed his own digital materials, such as Youtube Videos in order to have her easily understand.

Our 17 year old son needed some extra support for his A level Chemistry, we logged onto First Tutors, having used them previously for Maths tuition at GCSE’s and found Amadeus.
Amadeus responded to our request immediately and we arranged an initial session for a few days later and haven’t looked back.
Our Son has had weekly sessions which he has actually really enjoyed and found so beneficial.
He had basically lost his confidence with chemistry and was struggling to keep up and enjoy the subject, I’d say in just 3/4 sessions Amadeus had turned it completely around.

Amadeus went through the subject topic by topic. Very patient and clear.

Sam was really lacking in confidence in his knowledge of the subject and in particular how to prepare for the exams.
Amadeus is guiding him through the topics, encouraging him and explaining the relevance of each aspect to increase his understanding. Sam needs to know 'why?' and 'how?' things work to make the subject real. Very pleased with progress after just a few sessions.

Amadeus tutors both my sons for GCSE science via Skype. They wanted a tutor to especially go through exam questions which he downloads and sends them and they go through each topic. He is reliable, easy going, patient and connects well with struggling teenagers! Definitely been big help.

Amadeus has been teaching Year 11 physics to my daughter and two other girls in her class this winter and spring. He has shown himself to be a mature and knowledgable science tutor who has been able to convey his knowledge to the three teenage girls in a confident and effective manner. At the beginning of the tuition sessions all three girls were aware of gaps in their knowledge. Through Amadeus´ teaching all three girls now feel much more confident in their physics knowledge as they enter the final weeks leading up to their triple science exams.
