Amanda, thank you for being an excellent teacher and tutor.

Your guidance and support to our daughter has been of immense help. She adores you and speaks highly of you. She loves the way you emphasize quality over quantity and that has been a great influence on her in other subjects and in real life too.

Your support and encouragement when she decided to appear for Tiffin Girls grammar school just 3 months prior to the exam is phenomenal. There is no doubt that your systematic support and expert guidance played a very critical role and resulted in her securing an offer from Tiffin Girls, although we are not in priority catchment area for that school.

We would happily recommend your tutoring to anyone looking for help with English and Creative writing.

My son was struggling with A level English Literature, especially Shakespeare. Amanda was extremely helpful, explained in detail and gave him a good understanding of the text. He is now confident in writing his essays.

Currently, I am a mature student from Hong Kong who intends to apply for the US universities and self study AP English Language and Literature. All I can say is that Amanda has been a great help to my academic pathway. She is very patient, caring and professional. Amanda is a very experienced tutor and a nice person. She had worked as a journalist for a major national newspaper and she was very helpful in editing of my news stories. She never worked with adult foreigners before but quickly turned on to my needs, and my lessons with her were very beneficial in improving my writing skills.

My daughter finds Amanda’s lessons enjoyable and easy to understand. The notes Amanda provides after each lesson have also been exceptionally helpful in supporting my daughter prepare for her exams.
