Hello! I’m Ameerah, and I have been dedicated to teaching children in our community since 2017. I pride myself on being a flexible tutor, always striving to accommodate the needs and schedules of your child. As an active member of our local community, I truly understand the significance of helping our children reach their fullest potential. Being of Pakistani heritage, I recognize how deeply the South Asian community values education, and I am proud to play a role in empowering students to unlock their capabilities.

Tutoring Experience

With eight years of experience as a qualified teacher and over eight years of successful tutoring, I have established a strong track record. As an official examiner for GCSE English Language with AQA, I received special recognition from my Team Leader for achieving 90% accuracy in my marking. This experience has provided me with invaluable insights into what the exam board seeks in student responses. I can confidently guide your child in meeting all assessment criteria for A01-4, leveraging my insider knowledge to help them achieve top grades. Holding a 2:1 BA with Honours in English and Creative Writing, I understand the critical components of the English Language Exam, which accounts for 50% of a student's grade. My expertise is tailored specifically to the exam, and I employ a variety of effective teaching methods. I have experience with both AQA and EDEXCEL, covering a diverse range of literature texts and language papers.
