I am a positive and encouraging tutor with a Subject Knowledge Enhancement course in Mathematics and first class degree in Biochemistry. I have a friendly approach to teaching and accommodate to each tutees individual needs.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a tutor of Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics for the last seven years and am dedicated to improving subject knowledge and meeting their targets. For the last 10 years I have specialised in tutoring Maths and science. I am always up to date with the latest curriculum (new curriculum 2016) and ensure that my lessons focus on the areas needed for improvement.

Tutoring Approach

I start by focusing on areas that students have difficulty with, making sure that students have a good understanding of the basic concepts, until progressing onto more complex areas. I have found that in doing so, this allows students to gain a much greater understanding and builds their confidence in the process. As the latest curriculum is heavily focused on problem solving, I find that it is imperative to provide students with techniques that will aid in letting them apply their knowledge to any type of question that can be asked.
