Amir Mohammad

I have a strong academic background to ground my work. I'm a Ph.D. graduate in Civil Engineering (Structure) and I did my Master in Civil Engineering (Construction Management) from the University of Birmingham. I am very friendly and calm and during my time at the university, I have worked with a broad range of students with diverse backgrounds.

Tutoring Experience

I am a highly experienced tutor. I was a lecturer for 2 years and I also was a demonstrator at the University of Leeds for 1 year. In recent years, I have been a private tutor teaching Mathematics and Physics (for both students at University and High School). Also, I was a "Teaching Assistant" for 7 years.

Tutoring Approach

I believe the classroom is a living community and that everyone, from the principal to the students to the parents, must contribute in order to maintain a positive atmosphere. Everyone in the classroom contributes as a student, teacher, and thinker. I learn from students as much as they learn from me. All students are individual and everyone learns in their own unique way. I use multiple methods of teaching (linguistic, visual, auditory, kinesthetic) to reach students so that no one is left behind.
