Ana

Hi I'm Ana! Originally from Spain, I've been living in the UK for the last 17 years embracing both cultures. I came to the UK when I was 13 so I have experienced school, college and university in the UK. I'm currently based in Bristol and I'm learning Italian and hopefully one day become trilingual!

Tutoring Experience

I have a strong background in language education, with experience in both structured classroom settings and personalized tutoring. During my final year at university, I focused on creating and implementing lesson plans, gaining hands-on experience in classroom teaching.

Following this, I spent two years working at a Spanish language agency, where I taught English as a Second Language (ESL) and helped students prepare for their Cambridge English Proficiency Exams. My role involved designing lessons to improve grammar, writing, reading comprehension, and speaking skills, ensuring students gained confidence and fluency in English.

In addition to my formal teaching experience, I have worked as a freelance tutor, specialising in conversational Spanish/ English and vocabulary. My approach is interactive and student-focused, helping learners feel comfortable while expanding their language skills naturally.
