Hello my name is Andrea,

I am a native Italian speaker with a first degree in Italian law. I speak English and would like to offer tuition to students either wishing to learn basic conversation or to assist people who already have a grasp of the language to enhance their skills to the next level.

With my legal background I am happy to assist in any advocacy situations to include all translation work as might be required.

Tutoring Experience

Although I do not have any formal teaching qualifications I am well educated, achieving the equivalent of a Master’s degree in Law with maximum honours. I have excellent communications skills and believe I have the ability and skills required to teach Italian as a foreign language to a high level.

Tutoring Approach

I align my approach to meet the needs of the tutee and will work at a pace that is comfortable for the individual. I can adapt my teaching style to achieve their desired potential, levels ranging from basic conversational to fluent Italian. I am very approachable and patient. My methodology is mainly based on listening and repetition, this enables the student to gain confidence and an understanding of how to communicate in both informal and formal situations.
