He is very good at what he does. He gives very valuable feedback. I tutored for him for a short time and just wanted feedback on my essays and every lesson (this was very close to the exam) I would feel and it would be noticeable in my work that I have significantly improved and sometimes it would be a grade. He would provide me notes and "written guides" by him which helped me imitate what a good essay would look like especially for paper 3.

Andrew was very prompt to answer to the request and his calm and reassuring phone conversation gave us the confidence to go ahead with his lessons. My daughter's feedback after the first lesson was more than positive and I can't wait to see her confidence and knowledge to blossom.

Andy was professional yet good fun with a wealth of topical examples behind economic theory. My daughter enjoyed the sessions she had with him and found his use of the whiteboard and essay planning insights very helpful. As a result she achieved a much higher grade than she initially thought possible. We thoroughly recommend Andy.

I started coming to Andrew for Business Studies tuition immediately after my AS results. At the time I was low on confidence and lacked the know-how when it came to reaching the top grades. Andrew provided me with this know-how and more importantly enthusiasm for the subject area. After receiving my results this month, I am delighted to say that I got an A! I cannot thank Andrew enough for his amazing tuition; as I am certain that without him, I couldn't have got the grade that I so desperately wanted. I 100% recommend Andrew to anyone who desperately wants their grades to improve and are willing to work hard alongside his tuition to achieve it.

Hello Andrew, as requested, here are my thoughts for you to use as feedback for other prospective students and their families.

We have found Andrew to be very approachable. He has always been on time for the Skype sessions. Always patient and always encouraging to our son. Our son has finished each lesson with renewed focus for the week ahead and has enjoyed the one-to-one time. In particular, the lessons have been collaborative with our son and not simply all about Andrew delivering facts. Andrew has enabled our son to structure his work more clearly than he would have otherwise been able to. His use of Skype is very effective utilising instant message facility during the course of the sessions. In addition to this Andrew has sent frequent e-mails to support the set work each week and has always been responsive to queries which have arisen between lessons.

All in all, a very positive experience. I would highly recommend him to any Economics student.

I am delighted that Andy is able to tutor my son for AS and A2 Business Studies exams.His lessons have been very helpful and my son felt he made a great deal of progress in understanding the subject. He will be continuing with tuition with Andy up until the exams and he is now much more confident.
My son has just achieved an A* Grade at A Level in Business Studies which he is extremely pleased about. Andy was a huge source of support and help and I would thoroughly recommend him as a tutor

A'level economics. My twin boys attend Andy weekly as an additional lesson to school and cover issues that aren't fully covered/explained in class. Andy gets across the principals and learning points such that the lads have a clear understanding of the topics. We'll continue to use him throughout the coming 18mths.

Andrew is very thorough in explaining concepts and make things a lot easier to understand. I would certainly recommend him to other students as he has been incredibly helpful over the last few lessons.

I'm feeling so lucky of having Andrew as my tutor for A2-Economics ! Our lesson is just the most productive and fascinating time of my day. He is very friendly, professional and absolutely passionate about his subject. I really enjoyed all of the sessions which I've had so far. Each lesson is full of discussions, theoretical parts of the topic, explanations, tips for the exam and examples (which I, personally, find incredibly helpful in terms of understanding the material). I would DEFINITELY highly recommend him for tutoring.

My son has started economics tuition with Mr Andy recently, he is really enjoying the lessons and will continue to learn from him for his AS AND A2 exams. He is flexible and helps my son to understand the concepts of economics very well.

I've greatly enjoyed the tutoring sessions I have had so far with Andy. He makes a huge effort to make the sessions very informative, using the limited time given to its most effective potential, without compromising the high level of detail put into explaining the syllabus content. Andy at the same time creates a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, this accompanied with the high level of tutoring skills, makes his sessions better than any other tutoring sessions I’ve had so far. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Andy is experienced as a tutor and as a teacher of his subjects. Organising long distance tuition has been quick and easy.

With only the few lessons i've had so far with Andrew i am very happy with the outcome so far. Each lesson is full on so the full hour i have with him is used & any discussions are either before the hour or after. I have recieved feedback on my essays out of Andrew's spare time, on email free of charge which has also been a real benefit. Overall i would recommend Andrew to anyone looking for a tutor who will give you everything they have and more with support outside of the normal hourly sessions also!

An absolutely outstanding tutor. Andy is friendly, approachable and extremely professional. He gets straight to the point, but elaborates usefully on parts you need to know. I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with Andy - he overflows with relevant information, tips and general genius! He's worth every penny. I can't recommend him highly enough.

What you have achieved in just a few lessons is remarkable. Ryan immediately felt at ease with you and it was great to see his confidence grow after the first lesson. He is now of a positive mindset ready to tackle his exam this week. Andy is a great tutor! I'm currenlty studying A2 Business and needed some help to understand certain topics. Andy helped explain these topic areas very well, and in a way i could understand.During the lessons we looked at many past papers, this helped improve my exam technique and I'm more aware of what examiners are looking for. His tutoring is based around the needs of the individual, and he makes the lessons very interesting which helps you stay motivated! I enjoy my lessons with Andy and look forward to preparing for my unit 4 examination, which I can guarentee Andy will enjoy as it includes Economics! I would definetly recommend him for tutoring.

Currently studying Economics at University, weeks before my exam i needed a few lessons with a tutor that could cover certain areas with me i was struggling with. Andrew was fantastic, he was able to explain topics right from the basics and fit the tution around me, which i liked. He made very good revision notes and was able to cover a lot of material in each lesson which really impressed me! He is familiar with the Sloman textbook most universities use, and he is very skilled at explaining concepts using examples the student is familiar with. His structure for lessons as well as his passion for economics, allows the student to stay motivated and encouraged through the lesson. I would highly recommend Andrew, and though i have only had a few lessons with him, i will most definately be contacting him again in the future for more!
