Angela

We were looking for a tutor who could give tuition to Emma (a friend’s daughter who was staying with us from Italy. ) Emma was looking to improve her English and mostly needed help with her speaking and listening skills. We have been very impressed with Angela as she really listened to Emma’s needs but also really adapted the lessons according to Emma’s interests. On request, and as Angela saw fit, lessons were not confined to a classroom environment but instead were also held outside, helping Emma to gain practical experience e.g in ordering food and interactions needed for shopping. This was fundamental in enabling Emma to open up, she definitely gained trust and built her confidence in a short space of time too (over just 3 weeks). Angela was great at keeping us updated on how the lessons were going. She went out of her way to ensure Emma’s safety as she travelled there on public transport. We are very grateful and pleased we found her, thank you Angela!

Experienced, engaging and patient tutor. My partner has been taking Englsih  lessons with Angela  for a month now and she has been doing a great job with him. He feels more confident and tries to speak more English outside of the house. He always looks forward to the next lesson. Thank you Angela for your great help.
