HOLA!
I'm Angeles from Northern Spain and currently live in the Bloomsbury area.
I have graduated from the Cervantes Institute London in Teaching Spanish for young students and adult learners. I completed a Master of ELE (Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language ) for UNIR University of La Rioja Spain.
I am flexible and available during the day and most evenings. I am open to doing Saturdays and possibly even Sundays. I am also open to online classes... more conversational.
I have a wide experience starting September 2012 in teaching Spanish to a large number of students of differing ages: early years to the adult learner, covering primary and secondary students up to university.
I am passionate about teaching Spanish and enjoy seeing my students improve their Spanish language skills. I love to teach my language and pass that feeling on to my students. I like making my classes fun so that my students enjoy their learning journey, as well as keeping them engaged throughout the class. I provide a variety of resources that help stimulate and encourage learning.
I am very keen on developing strategies, methods and activities that can enable and make it easier to understand the grammar and syntax of the language, and engagement in spoken Spanish.
I had the opportunity of participating in the X Encuentro of Difusion Editorial that took place in Madrid in March 2019, which gave me exposure to other teaching styles.

I look forward to helping you become fluent in Spanish!
With individual tuition, I start by assessing the student's current level of knowledge and I determine the correct teaching programme. I aim to make my lessons Enjoyable, using visual resources (videos, extracts from the Spanish media ), as well as role-playing games.
During the lesson, we work on strategies for vocabulary learning, pronunciation exercises, and listening to online resources.
My approach with classes is via Zoom/ Google Meets. The format is slightly different: we focus more on skills related to speaking and listening.
In both cases, individual and group tuition, I set activities that enable the student to progress and confirm their understanding.
