Ann is an excellent tutor. She is very easy to communicate with and I like how she provides feedback to update parents too. Her teaching is very systematic. She understands our daughters well and is attentive to what they need.
Our daughters find her lessons very helpful whilst still being fun and enjoyable. We are so glad that we were able to find Ann and our daughters have improved a lot since last September.

After a few sessions, we are very happy with the work Annmarie has delivered so far.
First of all, she did a proper assessment of the current situation: evaluation of my son’s strengths and weaknesses.
Once done, she designed a specific program with objectives and targets to help my son getting rid of his bad habits and to help him improving the way he answers the questions and the way he writes based of the requirements of the GCSE English language paper 1 and 2.
Significant progress was made so we are hopeful that he will be well prepared for the actual exams in June.

I am also thoroughly enjoying teaching Anthony.

Yesterday he said that he is very motivated and enjoys our lessons, particularly as we are planning together and sharing ideas . I like to make my lessons very interactive and interesting.
I am teaching him how to effectively plan his responses and use analysis techniques, which are both key areas to achieve a high level of success in GCSE English.
Feedback is important to me as I like parents to know exactly what we are achieving each lesson.

My 16 year old daughter enjoyed her lessons with Ann-Marie and really felt they were beneficial. She was struggling with how to expand her answers for her GCSE English exams, Ann-Marie added well needed clarity, hopefully her results will reflect this.

my son has been very happy with his English lessons we have had 5 so far and he had a mock exam recently which he had just had practice on with regards to writing a letter.so he felt a lot more confident to tackle this subject. The homework is set and is marked and discussed the following lesson. Ann-Marie is very friendly and approachable person, she is getting my son to speak out his views and be more confident when discussing and planning. We find Ann-Marie is very punctual and gives helpful feed back to me (mum) so I can help if he gets stuck on his homework. Would definitely recommend Ann-Marie for home tutoring.
