Anna prepared my eldest son for GCSE Italian last year. He has thoroughly enjoyed the lessons with her and achieved a great result, getting a 9. I have been very impressed by Anna’s teaching method. My son had a clear idea of what he needed to learn, as Anna explained the structure of the exam and what was expected very clearly. This meant he could focus on what was really important and felt confident about his skills and knowledge at the time of the exam (which he took in year 10). Anna has a lot of experience with secondary level education, she is also very well organized and approachable. My son developed a very good relationship with her and I know she will be a fantastic guide if he were to decide to take Italian for his A-levels.

I asked Anna to help me, as a complete novice to the Italian language, to give me a good start in Italian, so that on a forthcoming extended stay in Tuscany, I would have enough of an understanding to converse with locals in the village that I was staying. Anna is an excellent tutor who not only taught me the language, she also gave me a great cultural understanding of Italy and the Italian people.The course was mainly over Skype, as this was during Covid, but we did manage to have a few sessions over coffee towards the end.
The course was aided by text books and homework and the vast notes that Anna supplied. I found the balance was ideal for me and I hope to be able to continue my education with Anna in the future
