I am able to tutor Spanish, French and English (English as a Foreign Language). I'm an ambitious and adaptable individual with the ability to create a dynamic learning environment to encourage students to communicate, progress and enjoy language learning.

Tutoring Experience

I have a BA in Spanish and French and also have a Masters degree in Translation.
I am currently working as a Freelance Translator, specialising in tourism/travel, marketing and some aviation work.
I have experience teaching English in schools and academies to all age groups (from 5 years to adults). I also have experience of teaching French to young children as a hobby.

Having lived and worked abroad, I have previous experience of teaching English in the UK, France and Spain for a variety of ages, levels and examinations such as KET, PET, FCE.
I have taught ages from 5 years - Adults and am very adaptable to a variety of situations and am able to engage students in their learning. I have also undertaken tailored Business English classes for companies and conversational classes for one-to-one students.

Tutoring Approach

In Spanish, French or English, I have the ability to:
- provide support for a variety of ages, levels and needs
- build upon student's confidence

- offer help to improve pronunciation, grammar and cultural knowledge

During the first lesson, I always try to find out about learners interests to provide engaging lessons and to allow for communicative activities throughout their lessons.

I am happy to find extra materials that will assist with practice and/or examinations to work on areas of difficulty.

I am a friendly, approachable and professional tutor who strives to ensure that learners progress and benefit from their language learning.
