I am 51 years old and have been teaching for the last 10 years.
I have 2 grown up sons and recently moved to London for a new adventure.
I currently work part-time in a secondary school in South London teaching English Language and Literature for KS3 & 4.
I'm happy to answer any further questions you may have. I have an enhanced DBS certificate which I am more than happy to share upon request.
I have worked in 4 secondary schools since qualifying as a teacher. 3 have been in South Manchester, and currently I work in South London.
I have also worked for 2 years in an Adult Education College teaching English Language GCSE and have privately tutored students.
I appreciate that English as a subject can be particularly challenging. I have worked with children, and adults, who have many barriers to learning. For example, dyslexia, ASD, ADHD and EAL students.
I like to offer a free 1st consultation to find out about my students and their barriers to learning. From there, I endeavour to create a personalised experience to enable my students to reach their full potential.
We are all unique, so your way of learning will be listened to, and together will achieve success.
