I am a Spalding girl born and bred and love living in the country on the outskirts of town with my husband, two teenagers and two Border Collies.

Tutoring Experience

I have always loved numbers and all aspects of maths, especially algebra. I studied maths to degree level many moons ago and gained much experience tutoring privately for 10 years prior to having children. I taught a variety of pupils from primary age to A level and Uni students. In recent years I have helped my own children through GCSE maths and now they are successfully on the other side of their exams I'd love to find some new students to continue flexing my 'maths muscles'.

Tutoring Approach

I start by assessing a students current ability and understanding what they want to achieve. I like to go back to basics within each topic to ensure a good foundation on which to build the necessary knowledge of a subject. For GCSE students past papers play a large part as exam technique is crucial to a good result.
