I am a primary teacher, currently teaching year 3. I love supporting children in reading and exposing them to a variety of texts so that they feel confident. I also love teaching maths and showing children how capable they are.
I have been teaching for 11 years, and spent 7 years teaching year 6, so I have a lot of experience in supporting children in SATs and the transition to secondary school.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in a few primary schools in London and Hertfordshire. I have been teaching for 11 years, and in the past have been on the senior leadership team in a school. I have led maths, and I have implemented new ways to teach reading, based on research.

I’m very enthusiastic. I am understanding and am passionate about ensuring that the children believe in themselves. I use evidence-informed strategies in my teaching.
