Anni

Hi there! I'm Anni and I'm a highly experienced and qualified primary teacher (PGCE distinction, CELTA, DELTA, English Literature degree). I specialise in phonics and helping EAL learners, but I can help any learner to thrive in all areas of their English learning.

I am currently self-employed, working fulltime at my little business 'Unlock English'. Recently I have been teaching phonics to small groups and individuals, helping EAL learners to pass the 11 plus and to thrive in English schools, and helping children in China to improve their English before coming to live in England.

I can also help adult learners to improve their general English.

English is my thing! I love both linguistics and literature and I am hugely passionate about making phonics fun! I've been doing this for well over ten years, in the UK, China, Vietnam and Latin America. I would be delighted to help you and support you or your child in your journey.

Tutoring Approach

I am a learner centred teacher who will take the time to get to know my learners and exactly what they need. I like to really help my learners to relax and feel supported, and am big on making learning fun, interactive, dynamic and engaging!
