Hello! I'm Anshu, a recent PhD graduate in Soft Matter (Phys Chem) from University College London (UCL). I also hold a Master’s degree in Physics and several teaching qualifications. Before diving into my PhD journey, I spent two years teaching secondary-level science, specialising in physics, which has helped me understand the diverse learning needs of students. My goal is to help you grasp complex concepts, boost your performance, and excel in exams. Whether you're struggling with a specific topic or aiming for top grades, I’m here to guide you every step of the way!
I have taught Physics and Chemistry at GCSE levels, and have experience coaching students effectively in preparation for exams. I am very familiar with the Edexcel and AQA exam boards and know how the exams are marked.
I taught A level Maths and Physics throughout my undergraduate years at University.
I believe that every student is different in how they learn. Having worked as a teacher previously, I am quick to identify and adapt to the needs of the learner to help them get the best out of their learning experience. Ultimately though, I understand the pressure students face in securing grades, either for sixth form/college or University, and am adept in coaching my students for exam. I do this by helping them identify their own strengths and weaknesses, and focussing on raising their understanding around a concept; developing exam techniques to help them do their best in exams; raising trust and confidence in their own ability to solve problems.
