Anthony was very helpful as a tutor for my Politics A-Level as he improved my wider knowledge with great examples and exam technique. I felt more confident writing my essays knowing we had covered topics of the specification together that I requested. His feedback on the essays that I sent in and the collaborative process of working through it together in sessions was very useful. I was able to secure strongly over the grade I required for my university offer. Thank you for the help and support.

Anthony was instrumental in turning my son's A-level politics trajectory around. He worked with my son for the last 6 months of his two year course and helped him in many ways, both in terms of good essay structure but especially the mastery of the source material. The depth of his writing increased immeasurably and he became able to weave together concepts and information from a wide variety of sources into a coherent and interesting narrative.

At the start he was predicted a "B" by his school in his mocks but having taken the A levels now it seems an A* is in range (though the results are not in yet). I can't praise Anthony highly enough. There is no doubt that my son's progress would not have been anywhere near this level without his support. Highly recommended.

Anthony is a brilliant tutor who quickly overcame my son's doubts about online tutoring and was able to give him added confidence. He helped him overcome his difficulties with a particular part of the subject to the extent that my son now feels it is a strength rather than a weakness.

We have been really pleased with the tutoring Anthony gave my son William for his GCSE History. There is a lot of content to cover for this subject and interpreting the exam style questions can be hard. Anthony really helped William to navigate this and gave him the confidence he needed.

We were enormously impressed by the standard and rigour of Anthony's teaching compared to her school class work. Anthony is a very good communicator of Politics and provides excellent examples to back up points. Anthony has provided well laid out notes to revise from. Anthony is happy to comment on written essays. It would be useful to have more detailed marking of these to provide a final grade.

Last term I had to hand in three pieces of university coursework. Despite doing the readings that my lecturer suggested and others besides, I found myself unsure with how to go about answering the questions. Part of the problem is down to the fact that I struggle with essay structure and coherence. Anthony spent a great deal of time going through my essays, addressing these problems and giving insightful and thoughtful suggestions on how I could improve. He also took a great deal of interest in each of my essays which allowed for in depth discussions, which was particularly useful in trying to clarify some of my ideas. Anthony tutored my son Jonathan in AS level economics online. He had a thorough knowledge of the subject and helped with exam technique. He was professional in his approach and always well prepared for lessons. He certainly helped towards Jonathan getting a good grade.

Anthony is a good tutor and my son enjoyed working with him. We haven't received the AS results yet, but he definitely helped my son focus on this subject, plan his revision and prepare his essays in a very structured way. Thank you very much for all the help you have given Euan. He is much more confident in Politics and Philosophy now. He has a far greater understanding and enjoyment of both subjects which is a credit to the excellent way you have taught him over the last couple of months. I think he stands a far better chance now of getting the grades he needs for university. As well as his subject understanding, his exam technique has improved immeasurably. I really think you should become a teacher, you clearly have all the skills required. Euan has really enjoyed spending time with you (he even says you may start playing football together!).

Really good tutor. He has a breadth of knowledge of the subject and explains things very well. Friendly too!

My daugher Ellie has had 5 coaching sessions with Anthony now and has enjoyed them very much. He has managed to build her confidence very quickly and stimulated a real interest in the subject (philosophy) which had definitely waned after some bad essay marks. She wants to continue with the sessions and feels sure they will help her get the grade she needs for her university choice.

Anthony tutored my daughter Zoe in the weeks running up to her As levels. They covered Politics, Economics and Philosophy. Anthony was positive, encouraging and professional. He was quickly able to find out which areas of the courses were a concern to my daughter and help her to understand and memorise the tricky bits. His tutoring gave her much more confidence as well as knowledge and she went on to achieve good grades for which Anthony should definitely take some credit. We recommend him unreservedly.

Anthony Helped my son Joe, with revision for his As levels, they covered History, Economics, English, and some Politics.Joe found the skype method really easy to handle after a long day at school, Anthony would always fit in with his schedule, and was always very helpful if we had to change some dates around… I could hear their conversations sometimes, Anthony always made the revisions interesting , so Joe got a lot out of their time together, We will be asking him to continue onwards into A level , we were extremely pleased with joe,s results AAAB, and thank Anthony very much for his help. Anthony's teaching style really got me approaching politics exams in a different way, allowing me to improve my own knowledge and exam skills. By discussing ideas and marking essays, this boosted my general essay writing which has helped me in other subject areas. After retaking two politics units with the help from Anthony I was able to attain two high A's in January exams.

Anthony also tutored me for the June exams, since getting my History grade in August I am very happy to say I attained an A* , only dropping two marks in the final exam. Which has allowed me to get into the University of Manchester. I'd say the tutoring I received for both History and Politics allowed me to gain the necessary skill to attain such a grade. As I have already said Anthony's teaching style was extremely helpful as it provided one-on-one sessions to discuss ideas and gain a greater depth of understanding of the syllabus and what is expected from candidates - something which you don't normally get at A-level.

I'd highly recommend this for anyone who needs essay help or expansion of knowledge in a subject area via discussion of ideas.

Anthony has been a great help to my son in preparing for his as exams, he has worked with him on and off over a period of more than a year coaching and helping him with exam techniques, I feel that the help Anthony offers is sensitive and specifically centred on the problems that the student is presenting, we intend to carry on using Anthony as a tutor, when needed, until the A-levels are completed. My son has specific learning difficulties so exams have been difficult and re-takes have had to be taken, we are recently delighted to find that he has achieved As in his recent retakes, we are very grateful for the help Anthony has offered and would recommend him highly.

Anthony really helped me with my History A Level Coursework in a very short space of time! I have just been accepted into my university, History being my weakest subject, therefore Anthony's help guaranteed me a presentable grade in my History coursework, and therefore made my target grade for History more accessible. As well as helping me complete my coursework, Anthony guided me and broke the more complicated parts down for me, therefore helping my understanding of what I was writing and why. It became less stressful with Anthony's helped and I do still feel that if I need help with any of my university work, then Anthony will be willing. I Would recommend him to everyone, very willing to do whatever he can to help, even to learn new topics!

Sophie underwent an unexpected heart operation and so her start date for tuition had to be be delayed. In the meantime Anthony has been in regular contact, prepared for her forthcoming course at university by finding out more about what she will be studying. Health permitting, Sophie is hoping to start weekly sessions shortly to help her get ready for return to education after a gap year. Anthony has been very supportive.
