I am a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology graduate from University College Dublin who has received a first class honours. I am now working as an lab analyst and wish to use my passion for Biology to work with students to help them realise their potential and work to achieve their goals in their studies.

Tutoring Experience

I have spent one year voluntarily teaching classes of leaving certificate Biology students in Dublin. I have conducted sessions where I have reviewed and explained challenging topics as well as hosting question and answer sessions. I also have experience leading groups of primary school children where I have introduced and explained basic science topics in a fun manner.

Tutoring Approach

I tailor classes around the needs of the particular student and focus on the topics that they find the most difficult. I ensure students understand the course material and then help them apply their understanding to exam style questions. I also create revision notes and example questions for each student.
