Hi! I’m a current Year 2 teacher in a primary school with experience across Reception, Key Stage 1, and Year 5. I’ve taught students of varying abilities, including those with SEND, and I always tailor my approach to suit the individual learner. I believe in creating a supportive, encouraging environment where children feel confident to take risks, ask questions, and enjoy learning.
I offer 1:1 and 2:1 tutoring in Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning — ideal for children working at the same level who benefit from collaborative learning. My sessions are thoughtfully structured but flexible, and I adapt my teaching style to match each child’s needs, whether they need reinforcement, stretch, or a confidence boost.
I absolutely love working with children and helping them find joy and success in their learning journey. I can’t wait to support your child and help them thrive!
I am currently a trainee primary school teacher with two years of experience working in schools with students ranging from 4 to 11. I have worked with children of all abilities and I have completed projects relating to teaching mathematics, so I am very well versed on the literature and how best to teach children of a young age. I have also attended top grammar schools so I have a deep understanding of the entrance exams and how best to practice for these.
I aim to be as inclusive as possible in my approach. I believe that using a hands on approach is most effective in teaching core concepts such as addition and multiplication in maths. I also help students break down the concept and fully digest it by using effective questioning as I believe knowledge must be 'discovered' rather than taught for best understanding.
