Eight years of teaching experience. Starting originally as a sports coach for Parkour, then moving to Waterskiing & Wakeboarding. Several years of tutoring experience in the sciences, maths and music. Currently working as a Youth Worker, running weekly workshops teaching children music.
My first focus is on instilling an interest and understanding of the subject we're focussing on. It is far easier (and more fun!) to learn something that you're interested in, and more so when you start to feel good at it.
With over eight years of coaching and teaching experience I am very familiar with identifying weak areas of understanding and improving people's confidence in a subject. I also have a genuine passion for science and maths, and I endeavour to pass that on.
Studying can be really tough, particularly with exam pressures - my goal is to make the whole process easier, more fun, and more manageable.
Typical lessons are 1 hour.
Happy to tutor from primary school ages up to Advanced Higher/A Levels.
