Archie

I recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with an MEng in Information Engineering and a BA in Bioengineering. I have a real passion for Maths and Physics, especially real-world applications of the things learned in class. I enjoy teaching and watching a student improve weekly is a pleasure.

I achieved 3x A* at A level; this wouldn't have been possible without tuition, so I know the value the extra hour or two of targeted learning a week can provide. Whether this be pushing a student's boundaries to achieve a higher level or helping attain that 'aha' moment on a tricky topic, I can assist with a wide range of situations and adapt lessons accordingly. Everyone understands topics differently so I pride myself in providing many possible perspectives to find the best way for you.

Tutoring Approach

As a student, you have full control of the topics and focus of the lesson. I will then focus on developing a deeper understanding of the area, relating it to previous topics and introducing some real-life relevance if I believe it will help you grasp the subject. I also like to spend time on exam fluency as I believe (especially for maths) that's one of the most important elements.
