I am a former High School Mathematics teacher with a bachelors degree in Physics and a masters degree in Nuclear Science & Technology. I recently finished my PhD in Nuclear Materials.
I achieved my PGCE in Secondary Science (Physics)& Mathematics and worked as a high school Mathematics teacher in 2016 - 2017. I now work as a senior lecturer in Radiation Physics & Criticality for the Nuclear Department for the Royal Navy. I am based at HMS Sultan in Gosport.
2015 - 2016: PGCE in Secondary Science (Physics) & Mathematics at the University of Hull including 2 school based placements.
2016 - 2017: High School Mathematics Teacher at the Cooperative Academy of Manchester.
2018 - 2022: First year physics lab demonstrating.
2022 - present: Senior lecturer in Radiation Physics & Criticality for the Nuclear Department for the Royal Navy.
2022 - 2024: Personal tutoring of pupil in GCSE Mathematics.
My approach is pupil lead. My aim would be to go through the syllabus, find the topics in which the student is weakest and focus on them. Towards exam times, the focus will be on exam technique.
