I'm a Russian speaking Eton College graduate with 3 A*s at Pre-U and 11 A*s at GCSE, entering my fourth year at Oxford University (predicted First-Class). I am based in Holland Park and primarily teach Russian, Spanish, and English, although I also have experience tutoring History, Classics, and Maths.

Tutoring Experience

I am a highly experienced tutor, beginning from my time at Eton when I helped local students with 11+. In my time at Oxford I have taught Russian and History up to Pre-U and Spanish, English, and Classics to GCSE level. In addition to online tutoring I have done in-person teaching around West London. On my recent year abroad in Tbilisi, Georgia I taught English as a foreign language to Russian students aged 11-17.

Tutoring Approach

I believe it is fundamental that my students take ownership in their work and I try to encourage this through challenging but engaging sessions. I also think it is important to not overwhelm the student and so always promote the concept of 'little and often' as a cornerstone of my teaching.
