Bonjour ! I am a French native speaker, qualified and experienced language teacher. I am also a GCSE examiner for AQA and previously member of the Chartred Institute of linguistics. I would love to share my love for languages and culture with you.

I am happy to help out for GCSE/A level practice/homeschooling. I can give you support throughout the academic year but I am also available for "one-off practice session" prior to your exams, should you just want to get some confidence before the exam.

Not sitting an exam? I can also offer informal conversational sessions in French (topics of your choice).

I am based around Wem and tutor at my home. I am willing to travel 10 miles with additional charge for fuel. Happy to tutor online too.

-Associate Examiner for AQA (GCSE 2022/2024)
- 9 years experience as a qualified language teacher+ 2 years as a french language assistant in the UK.
-Private tutoring for over 10 years in the UK.
-Experience teaching languages in primary school.
- I am very familiar with the following specification boards: AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas, as well as International Baccalaureat (IB French)
- I have experience tutoring at both KS2, KS3, GCSE and A level.
-I have experienced tutoring in preparation for Common Entrance/Eton Scholarship exam.
-Additionally, I have held adult conversational groups in French.

Tutoring Approach

I will assess your current knowledge of French and identify which skill(s) you need to focus on (Speaking, Listening, Writing, Reading). We will discuss your goal(s): Exam prep, speaking confidence, holiday French, career French. This will allow me to tailor my lessons to fit your individual needs.
