I am a graduate in French and Hispanic Studies and I speak both French and Spanish fluently. As part of my degree I spent a year in Avignon, South of France and in Salamanca, Spain where I went on a grant from Santander Bank. This gave me an opportunity to explore the cultural and linguistic heritage of the two countries. I have just returned from the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris where I was involved in translating and event managing in French, English and Spanish.
I have tutored students in French and Spanish at GCSE Level and whilst I was at University, I tutored and mentored students in both languages.
I would like to bring the most out of my students so that they reach their full potential in both written and spoken language. I will assess the needs of each student so that I can prepare the lesson suitable to their needs. I will focus on the four main aspects for the exam: Speaking, Reading Comprehension, Listening and Writing. I believe all these aspects are indispensable for the students to engage in the language and culture. I will also focus on translations because this helps the students to enhance their vocabulary and grammar which are fundamental aspects for the exam. My main purpose is for my students to receive the best grades in their exams so that they can enter the next stage at school and enter their choice of University. I have a calm and supportive approach whilst also being thorough and demanding.
