I am an analytical and hardworking second-year student, with a desire to motivate and support other students around me. Having undertaken my A-level examination in the midst of unprecedented circumstances, and achieving 4 A*'s, I believe I hold vital first-hand experience in undertaking challenges and succeeding. I hope to share this knowledge with future students and to watch them succeed in their academic endeavors. After discovering a strong interest in Economics during my A-levels, I worked through the grueling Oxbridge admissions process and am thankful to have been accepted to read Economics at the University of Cambridge starting in October 2022.

Tutoring Experience

I have continually tutored GCSE students from 2019-2022 in Mathematics. During this period, I have also undertaken the responsibility of tutoring 3 A-level students in both Mathematics and Economics. This is part of a tutoring program incentivised by my Sixth form. During the recent Oxbridge application cycle (2023), I supported a student in acing their admissions assessment as well as receiving an offer to study Economics at Cambridge. I currently tutor 2 students in Y12 and Y13, covering the Economics and Mathematics A-Level syllabus which keeps me up to date with the current demands of the course.

Tutoring Approach

I prioritise the theory behind the questions asked in examinations. I am a firm believer that understanding the theory will allow you to not only answer the question in front of you but also answer questions of a similar nature. Once the theory is understood, continuous practice through answering past questions, in timed conditions, is a necessary part of my teaching style. I aim to provide 1-2 hour in-person and online lessons aimed at students undertaking Mathematics or Economics at either GCSE or A-level.
