I'm Barbara Hollyhead and I'm a Chartered Marketer, graduate linguist and Member of the Institute of Export with extensive international marketing and business management and mentoring experience internationally. As such, I am extremely well placed to offer language, business, marketing and international trade tuition to students at a variety of levels with a variety of requirements.

Tutoring Experience

As a Chartered Marketer, I am qualified to tutor in marketing and business. As a practicing International Trade Advisor for the Department for International Trade in my 'day job', I often coach, mentor and teach business people in all aspects of international trade.

I have more than 20 years experience training and mentoring my marketing team in marketing and business tecniques, tools and best practice including social media.

I have been teaching Spanish GCSE from my home in Bristol for 2 years, helping my students achieve top results (A*)

Tutoring Approach

I tutor and mentor in a very approachable, collaborative way with my students so that they feel comfortable and relaxed, thus more ready to take on board new information and learning. I am very committed to ensuring my students achieve to the best of their ability. However, I also firmly believe that the student does need to commit to undertaking the preparatory work, private learning and home-work etc that I may recommend and set as a combination of that and my one-to-one tuition and mentoring is the best way to achieve the best results they can possibly achieve.
