I am an experienced classroom teacher , having taught in primary, middle and secondary schools. Recently, I completed a part-time TESOL course in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Tutoring Experience

I have been Head of French twice in my career and have a working knowledge of recent changes to GCSE, AS and A2 examinations. I have experience too of the Key Stage 2 Strategy in Modern Foreign Languages. Over the years, I have tutored students of all ages and abilities and have watched them grow in confidence and motivation.

Tutoring Approach

I would prepare my lessons to suit the student; this may be exam preparation or improving communication skills in speaking or writing. I would aim to practise the four skills of Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening and use online material to reinforce these skills and practise grammar.
