I am a Medical Doctor in the NHS, most recently with the Renal & Transplant Surgery teams at St. George's Hospital, London. I graduated in Medicine & Surgery (MB ChB) from University of Bristol in 2015 and am currently engaged in postgraduate professional training. My current academic interests include acid-base biochemistry in the ICU, and complications of cardiac infections.
I really enjoy teaching at all academic levels & abilities and I would hope students find me approachable and fun!
In my professional life I enjoy regularly teaching undergraduate medicine in both formal and informal settings to medical students, junior doctors, and nurses.
I am comfortable teaching biological science subjects from GCSE/IB level, through to A-level (Biology/Human Biology) & undergraduate Medicine.
I am very keen to ensure every student is stretched to the best of their ability, and can feel confident in achieving their academic ambitions.
I focus on ensuring a systematic and thorough understanding of the subject syllabus, combined with revision and exam techniques essential for success throughout the education system. See my '6 point plan for success' attached.
In line with current Government advice on COVID-19, I am only able to offer tutoring online at this time.
