I am a friendly, passionate and creative individual who is dedicated to empowering and inspiring a curiosity for learning in all learners.

I believe that every person has the ability to achieve, learn and grow with the necessary foundations, environment and tools provided to do so. I am confident as an educator, mentor and coach that anything is possible.

Tutoring Experience

• 16 years experience working across the primary and secondary years.
• Qualified and experienced teacher.
• Teacher, Mentor and Coaching trained.
• Tutoring with 100% success rate across GSCE subjects for the last 12 years.
• Experience using a number of current maths and English schemes that are widely used within schools, e.g. Read Write Inc., Numicon, Talk4Writing, White Rose Maths, AQA, OCR, Edexcel.
• Development of my own certified maths scheme for use as a home-ed tool and catch-up intervention program.
• In my role as an intervention teacher, my work was primarily focused on targeting gaps in children's knowledge and understanding to enable them to make accelerated progress.
• Access to a huge library of online and practical resources to support learning.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is person-centred. My aim is to accommodate and work around the varying needs and learning styles of every child and young person I meet. I am happy to facilitate a pace that is right and comfortable for each student.
